Welcome to my website.

My site is very much dedicated to the ukulele and the joys of playing this wonderful little instrument.

The ukulele is still so under-rated as a serious musical instrument. In reality, the ukulele is so incredibly versatile. Just about any style of music can be played on it. It is a terrific accompanying instrument for songs and has the advantage of being so portable. But it is also well able to cope with classical music: everything from the music of the Middle Ages to modern Minimalism.

I myself am particularly interested in arranging bluegrass tunes as well as the folk music of Britain and Ireland.

If you've been thinking of buying a ukulele and learning to play it - do it. You might become addicted, but you won't regret it.

 Ukuleles
that I own

Have a look at the pictures of the ukuleles that I own. I really enjoy playing them all and don't have any one favourite. I do, however, tend to use some more than others - some seem to be more suited to one style of music.

I have compiled some tables that show the pros and cons of each of my instruments. I shall, of course, keep this updated as I obtain more ukuleles. And I definitely do intend to obtain more.

Hope you like the photos.

Free TAB/music downloads

All the TABs that I have previously made available can be found on this website. These TABs also have traditional musical notation along side.

These are the most up-to-date versions
. They are available in PDF format at the moment and will automatically be opened with Adobe Reader. It is easy to print them out using this application.

Where I have done a video of the piece of music, I have put a You Tube link to my ukulele channel.

I hope you enjoy using these TABs. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions: info@kenmiddleton.co.uk
